Professor Andreas Liefooghe

Psychologist · Leadership Expert · Horseman

Some of the most profound truths about who we are emerge not in conversation, but in relationship — with others, with ourselves, and with the natural world.

Professor Andreas Liefooghe has spent over two decades at the frontier of that insight. A Chartered Psychologist, Professor of Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London, and a lifelong horseman, he is the founder of Operation Centaur — Europe’s foremost centre for equine-assisted psychotherapy and leadership development.

His work spans the consulting room, the boardroom, and the paddock. He works with individuals navigating profound personal challenges, and with organisations seeking more authentic, resilient leadership. In every context, the key questions are the same: How do we relate? How do we lead? How do we grow?

His approach is grounded in evidence, shaped by experience, and guided by a simple conviction — that the way we are with others reveals everything about who we are.
