leadership coaching

Leadership challenges rarely announce themselves clearly. They surface as friction, stagnation, miscommunication — a sense that something is not working, even when no one can quite name what it is.

Professor Liefooghe works with leaders and organisations to do exactly that: name it, understand it, and move through it. Drawing on expertise in organisational psychology, professional coaching and relational dynamics, he offers leadership development and coaching engagements that are grounded in rigorous psychological thinking and attuned to the very human complexity of organisational life.

This work takes many forms — one-to-one executive coaching, team development, organisational diagnostics, and consultancy on culture, change and human factors. Whether working with a single leader navigating a critical transition, or an entire organisation seeking to shift its culture, the approach is always the same: begin with careful observation, resist the easy answer, and work with what is there, rather than what is merely presenting.

For those seeking a more immersive and experiential form of leadership development, Operation Centaur offers something singular…

Equine assisted leadership training

Horses are exquisitely sensitive to non-verbal communication. They respond without agenda, without hierarchy, and without deference. In their presence, what is real becomes visible. Patterns that have calcified over years — fear, avoidance, the habit of looking up for permission — are revealed, examined, and transformed.

At Operation Centaur, we work with leaders and organisations to surface what cannot easily be seen in a meeting room: the unspoken dynamics that shape culture, block progress, and determine whether people truly step into their authority. We do this work in the field — alongside horses.

This is rigorous, evidence-based work. It is also, for many, the most unexpectedly powerful leadership experience they have ever had.
